Here's The True Avatar, the real protagonist of the legendary Ultima Saga, looking sooo virtuous. With the Avatar, her girly companions: Raven, Shamino, Desbet and Mariah. (100 percent girly indeed: Shamino the Ranger likes crossdressing so he's automatically girly, and Desbet the Gargoyle is a genderless creature and thus 50-50.)

The Lady Avatar knows what "a paladin" is. Everyone does except the canonical Avatar, the retarded one we saw in Ultima IX: Ascension. This picture is based on "the original plot" that was scrapped and replaced with... a piece of scrap.

I've tested every Ultima game except the "Worlds of Ultima" and "Online". Fully completed everything from VII to IX. I still consider Serpent Isle one of the bestest games ever. :)

And IX one of the worst. :(

Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar drove me crazy. I spent hundreds of hours on it and finally got so lost I gave up. I remember stumbling down into the dungeons and accidentally finding the key level before I had the 8 stones, and then after I found the last stone I couldn't find the level ever again. Lol. :D

I did eventually come up with a plot involving the realm and eight characters representing the eight classes. I even did renders of my characters. [link]

One of the biggest F**K ups of all time was that line.
Your freaking best friend was a Paladin and he sacrificed his very being to save the world. You retard game designers.

Later the paladin's sacrifice was totally nullified and he's resurrected, just like that.

Ultima 9 felt like an average Ed Wood movie, except less funny. :(
