Just draw and draw, even if you dislike the result, and in time, you'll find satisfaction.
Though I must admit that I hate my own art. I see only errors and mistakes. But I keep doing it because I, well, *need* to do it. Being an artist isn't about skill... it's the desire to create something.
This is the kind of art I'm sure we all love to see from you. It even has a nice background! hehe. Hair, makeup and pose are vary well done, especially the hair. That armor looks fantastic! The colors you use go really well together, I think the detail of leather/metal stamping on the armor is a great character builder. The face is nice and crisp, tilting and eye position, hair pulled back over her ear and the slight smirk all contributes to fill in her personality without knowing anything about her. I'm vary pleased with the background you chose to draw. It's a beautiful setting for a beautiful girl. Fluffy clouds, a lake and mountainous backdrop seem to be your thing, and it doesn't look the same as your other drawings
The lighting is questionable. I like how it looks, and many highlights look good and well placed, but with a sun shining right over her shoulder like that, some of it conflicts with the overall setting.
Thanks. Using the sun in the picture should kill most of those armor highlights and deepen the shadows, but she is a cleric of a sun goddess so the sun must be there, and she wears a metal (or mithril) armor, and this is ex-grb production, so the SHINY must be there too. Maybe the sun would've worked better closer to her head...
