Interesting. I like it! it does look like you trailed off a little on the detail once you got to her feet, but that seems to be a common thing with artists when they get to the edges of a picture, dunno why. I have a question... Would you be interested in doing anything on some tabletop gaming characters? I have a few interesting ones from circa 1225ad that might be decent candidates. But, if you have too much to do already, it's okay.
You're right, I HAVE much to do... so many ideas, so little time.
Generally, if something is based on realism or actual history I'm not very inspired. There must be fantastic freedom. Weapons - swords and guns - they're okay, but if we go to, say, armor design or, I shudder to think, real life portraits, my freedom becomes limited, my style suffers, I get a stroke, etc.
Coincidence: I actually saw a nightmare yesternight! I was trying to paint Star Trek TOS's main cast! Then I noticed, they need to LOOK like Shatner, Nimoy and others. No freedom! Things got stressed out and, for some reason, Mr. Chekov broke his neck. Weird.
